"On July 30, 1918, at 3:30 in the morning, Maria Sklodowska-Curie got off the train at the station in Pisa..."- so begins the journey of our double Nobel laureate through Italy. What was her destination? How did the research expedition in Italy proceed? What places did Maria Skłodowska-Curie visit? These and other questions are answered by a short film about the Italian trip of the Nobel Prize winner in 1918, the premiere of which marked the 156th anniversary of Maria Skłodowska-Curie's birth. The premiere was followed by a performative reading of "Dialogue of Art and Science" by Alberto Macchi.
The video will soon be available on the YouTube channel of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
