Projects

Below you can read a list of major projects undertaken by the PAS Center in Rome.

Throughout 2023, we conducted more than a dozen interviews with scientists from various fields - from physics and biology to archaeology and geology. Although the research of our interviewees is interdisciplinary in nature and the scope of their scientific work is very broad, they share a common denominator - it is Polish-Italian activity. We invite you to read stories about cooperation, challenges and achievements, about discovering new horizons and cultures, and above all - about shaping the face of international science.

"The feminine side of poetry, or through poems to language" is a project aimed at encouraging students of philology, as well as university candidates, to take an interest in the Polish language, Polish culture, with a particular focus on contemporary Polish poetry. The focus of the project is on 3 poets: Wisława Szymborska, whose 100th birthday we celebrated in 2023, and two contemporary authors, Krystyna Dąbrowska and Małgorzata Lebda.
